UKCA Type Examination

amtri veritas is appointed by the UK Office for Product Safety and Standards and accredited by the UK Accreditation Service (UKAS) for UK Type-Examination of machinery within the scope of Annex IV of Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations.

UK Type Examination is a third-party certification process designed to provide independent assurance to the marketplace that certain categories of higher risk machinery are safe and compliant with the applicable legal requirements. amtri veritas has been successfully delivering Type Examinations for a wide range of well-known manufacturers for over 30 years.

Type Examinations are tailored to the needs of the project and will typically include on-site testing and review of your technical file, and resolution of any findings. We will continue to support you throughout the 5-year validity of your certificate, assessing the impact of any changes to the machine design, as well as providing the option for renewal of the certificate at its expiry.
