The Course

This one-day training covers the requirements and application of EN ISO 12100 Safety of Machinery. The course focuses on hazard identification and risk mitigation for machinery and work equipment.

Why should you attend?

Risk assessment forms a mandatory part of the Machinery Directive, the Machinery Regulation and the Supply Regulations, as well as being a requirement under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Act.

This training offers a detailed methodology of risk assessment. It will look at hazard identification and risk evaluation and methods for recording, reviewing and maintaining risk assessments. You will be supplied with the tools for carrying out your own risk assessments.

This training is aimed at engineering managers, project managers, machinery designers, process engineers, safety engineers and anyone else who is responsible for carrying out machinery risk assessments.

How is it delivered?

The course consists of presentations, exercises and worked examples, providing interactive participation and question-and-answer sessions. Participants receive a certificate of attendance if they attend the full course and complete the exercises.
