Ergonomic compliance and design

Ergonomic compliance and design

The Course

This one day of training covers five key aspects of compliant and safe machinery design, enabling design solutions that are both compliant and proportionate to the risk.

Why should you attend?

Compliant machine design can often be complex, with a broad variety of hazards requiring robust mitigation. Machinery legislation requires that these hazards are controlled in accordance with ‘state-of-the-art’ safety, but it can be difficult to know when this has been achieved.

This course provides an overview of the varied technical requirements relating to ergonomics and provide techniques for achieving compliant and safe designs.

The course will enable you to design and manufacture machines with confidence that these hazards have been managed.

Who is it for?

Design engineers, engineering leaders, safety and compliance engineers, quality managers and anyone who is involved with the design of equipment.

How is it delivered?

The course consists of presentations, exercises and worked examples, providing interactive participation and question-and-answer sessions. Participants receive a certificate of attendance if they attend the full course and complete the exercises.
