Product design skills to ISO 9001

The Course

This one-day training covers the requirements of ISO 9001 relating to product design, and following the design lifecycle including planning, design review and change management.

Why should you attend?

ISO 9001 sets out some best practice principles for processes to be followed in the design of products. This training details these requirements, methods for satisfying them, and provides delegates with the opportunity to practice the skills and techniques discussed.

Attendance will allow you to develop robust in-house processes for design and change management and satisfy the applicable requirements of ISO 9001.

Development of a compliant design process will also support an application for ISO 9001 certification.

Who is it for?

Anyone with the responsibility for defining, implementing, or using product design processes, including design engineers, compliance managers, quality managers and senior engineering leaders.

How is it delivered?

The course consists of presentations, exercises and worked examples, providing interactive participation and question-and-answer sessions. Participants receive a certificate of attendance if they attend the full course and complete the exercises.
